Job summary

NOVO Health Services is hiring a full-time delivery driver to service hospitals and clinics around Madison, Janesville, and Rockford. You will deliver clean linen carts, pick up soiled linen, and maintain daily paperwork with a focus on safety and timeliness.

Requirements include a CDL Class A or B with Air Brakes (Air Brakes required), a clean DOT record, and the ability to load/unload your truck and strap loads securely. You will work independently on scheduled routes.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with Air Brakes is preferred.

• Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Communicate effectively and courteously with customers.
• Take inventory at some customer locations.
• Maintain required daily paperwork.
• Perform daily visual inspections of the truck and equipment.

Job Duties:

• Deliver carts of clean linen to hospitals and medical clinics in and around Madison, Janesville, and Rockford. Pick up their soiled linen carts.
• Deliver to the customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the customers.
• Take inventory at some customer locations.
• Maintain required daily paperwork.
• Perform a daily visual inspection of the truck and equipment.
• Must have a current abstract from the DOT with a good driving record. Background check required.
• Schedule varies by route and day.

Requirements:

• Air Brakes required. CDL Class A or B with Air Brakes, preferred. Pay according to licensing.
• Possess a positive "can do" attitude.
• Alert, focused, and detail orientated.
• Must be able to load and unload your own truck and ensure your load is strapped down and secure.
• Possess a great sense of direction, ability to learn scheduled routes and alternate routes as necessary
• Ability to work independently.
• Must comply with all laws, DOT rules and requirements.
