Job summary

NOVO Health Services delivers linen management solutions to hospitals and clinics around Madison, WI. The driver role involves delivering clean linen carts, collecting soiled carts, and ensuring timely service with professionalism.

You will communicate with customers, manage daily paperwork, and perform vehicle inspections while complying with DOT rules and safety requirements. Various routes available.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with Air Brakes preferred.
• Must have a DOT medical card and clean abstract.
• Ability to load/unload and secure cargo.
• Adhere to all DOT rules and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver carts of clean linen to hospitals and clinics in and around Madison, Janesville, and Rockford.
• Pick up soiled linen carts and return to facilities as scheduled.
• Ensure timely deliveries and maintain professional appearance.
• Maintain daily paperwork and accurate inventory at customer locations.
• Perform daily visual truck/equipment inspections and secure loads.

NOVO's wide range of service programs offer a variety of options to provide a seamless, single source distribution system. NOVO's regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes.

Job Duties:

• Deliver carts of clean linen to hospitals and medical clinics in and around Madison, Janesville, and Rockford.
• Pick up their soiled linen carts.
• Deliver to the customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the customers.
• Take inventory at some customer locations.
• Maintain required daily paperwork.
• Perform a daily visual inspection of the truck and equipment.
• Must have a current abstract from the DOT with a good driving record.
• Background check required.
• Schedule varies by route and day.

Requirements:

• Air Brakes required.
• CDL Class A or B with Air Brakes, preferred.
• Pay according to licensing.
• Possess a positive "can do" attitude.
• Alert, focused, and detail orientated.
• Must be able to load and unload your own truck and ensure your load is strapped down and secure.
• Possess a great sense of direction, ability to learn scheduled routes and alternate routes as necessary.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must comply with all laws, DOT rules and requirements.
