Starting Pay

$24-$26 per hour, depending on experience.

Required Education

High School Diploma or GED.

Required Experience

At least 2 years of driving experience with a Class A CDL license, including manual transmission endorsement. Must have a clean driving record and be able to obtain and maintain a medical card. Our drivers typically work local hours, starting around 5 or 6 am until 3 or 4 pm, with no overnight or over-the-road work. This role involves lugger and roll-off truck work.

Responsibilities

• Wait to be loaded by Alter or customer and transport loads accordingly.
• Operate semi-trucks around the yard, moving scrap material.
• Operate yard equipment for loading or moving scrap.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Class A or Class B CDL license with 1-3 years of verifiable experience.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs, with assistance for 100+ lbs.
• Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials is a plus.
