Employmentsolutions Ny is hiring a Delivery Driver for local multi-stop routes in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time role requires loading, transporting, and unloading products while maintaining route discipline and customer service.

Candidates should have a valid license with a clean record and be able to obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate and Hazmat/ Security Awareness training. The position will relocate to Lowell at the start of November.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to obtain Medical Examiner’s Certificate and OSHA Hazmat training.
• CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload products.
• Complete multi-stop routes on schedule.
• Verify delivery manifests and documentation.
• Provide courteous customer service and handle COD when needed.
• Perform vehicle inspections and follow safety requirements.

Delivery Driver – Local Multi-Stop RoutesLocation: Grand Rapids, MIPay: $20.00+ per hour depending on experienceSchedule: Monday - Friday 7 AM - until done with routeEmployment Type: Full-TimeNote: The location of this warehouse is in Grand Rapids currently and moving to Lowell at the start of November.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dependable Delivery Driver to join a growing distribution team in Grand Rapids. This position is responsible for completing multi-stop delivery routes while safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading products.The ideal candidate has prior delivery experience, a strong driving record, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining an established route schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely load, secure, transport, and unload productsComplete multi-stop delivery routes accurately and on scheduleVerify and maintain delivery manifests and other required documentationAccurately handle COD payments when applicableProvide professional and courteous service to customersPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsFollow all federal, state, and company transportation and safety requirementsIdentify and resolve routine delivery or route-related issuesMaintain dependable attendance and punctualityComplete required safety and hazardous-materials trainingPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious delivery or multi-stop route experienceValid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving recordCurrent Medical Examiner’s Certificate or ability to obtain oneAbility to complete OSHA-required training in Basic Hazmat, Driver-Specific Hazmat, and Security AwarenessCDL preferred but not requiredStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionReliable transportation to and from the Kent facilityAbility to lift and move up to 75 poundsPhysical RequirementsThis position frequently requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, balancing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and handling materials. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical work throughout the shift and lifting products weighing up to 75 pounds.Compensation and BenefitsStarting pay is $20.00 per hour.
