SWDS Drivers are responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin‑Williams stores using company vans or pickup trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. They are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items safely and timely.

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Position Summary The role requires contact with customers, handling of cash and other payment methods, and exposure to sensitive information. A criminal history review is required to protect the safety of the Company’s customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Complete all required forms.
• Transport and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repair and servicing needs.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and documents relating to deliveries.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.
• Perform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• At least one year of experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, hand truck).
• Previous experience selling paint and paint‑related products.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, including Spanish.
