Wiseway Supply in Lexington, KY is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver to distribute plumbing, electrical and lighting supplies from the warehouse to customers. You will start each morning at the warehouse for route assignments and ensure on-time delivery with accuracy and quality.

This non-CDL role requires a valid driver's license and a current DOT medical card (employer may cover the DOT physical). Candidates should be able to lift 50–100 lbs, load/unload, navigate with GPS, and deliver

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and current DOT medical card.
• 1–2 years delivery driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load the truck and deliver products to customer locations.
• Drive to customer locations, unload and deliver materials, 50–100 lb weights on average.
• Record delivery manifests and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and company procedures; keep truck clean.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

You will report to the assigned warehouse location each morning to receive daily route assignment. Responsible for ensuring that receiving functions are being completed according to company procedures, quality, and productivity standards to provide our customers with the correct material, in the correct quantity, and at the requested arrival time.Essential Functions:Drivers are required to load the assigned truck for delivery, drive to customer location, unload truck and deliver products; the average weight of products being between 50-100 lbs.Recording information on delivery manifestAdhere to and bring resolution to service suggestionsDaily cleaning of assigned truckRepresent Wiseway in a professional demeanorUnderstand and follow company policies and procedures.Perform all assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner adhering to all company policies and procedures.Perform other duties as required or requested by management.Requirements:Be at least 18 years of ageValid driver’s license and verified safe driving recordAdhere to and follow all safety rules of the road and driving responsibilitiesAbility to perform driving/delivery duties via company truck; perform repeated motions of bending, squatting, stooping, and standing; including motion of getting in and out of the truck from the driver seat, removing the product from the truck, stabilizing on the mode of delivery via two-wheel dolly or carrying by hand.Must be able to push/pull pallet jack or cart weighing up to 350lbs.Able to load and unload products using a two (2) wheel dolly or carrying by hand; average weight of products between 50-100 lbs.Ability to work outside and deliver products over rough terrain, uneven grounding and at times hazardous due to weather conditions.Organizational skills; high attention to detail; independent; self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.Excellent interpersonal skills; representing his/herself in a professional and courteous manner; ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally; ability to multi-task, work under deadlines, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines with high levels of efficiency and accuracy.NO CDL requirement - this position requires a DOT medical card.
