Job Summary

Supports the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse by providing delivery and warehouse services. Responsibilities include delivering materials to customer sites or branch locations, maintaining vehicles, scheduling inspections, and ensuring vehicle cleanliness. Also involves completing logs and reports, loading and unloading materials, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Delivers materials to branches and customer sites as needed.
• Maintains vehicles in good condition and monitors maintenance.
• Schedules and ensures vehicle inspections are completed.
• Maintains driver logs and inspection reports.
• Completes necessary documentation and handles expenses.
• Adheres to traffic and safety regulations.
• Coordinates deliveries with various carriers.
• Loads and unloads materials at various locations.
• Performs warehouse functions such as order filling and shipping as needed.

Non-essential Functions

• Assists with other duties as assigned.
• May conduct Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
• Checks and packs materials for delivery.
• Maintains shipping equipment and work area.
• Provides customer service in City Desk and Will Call areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience preferred.
• Warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation preferred.
• Minimum age 21.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Current medical certification required.
• Clean driving record essential.
• Working knowledge of PC, SAP is a plus.
