Duties

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles, ensuring timely and secure transportation of appliances to customer locations
• Load, unload, and deliver appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens with care and precision
• Assist customers with appliance setup, including basic installation tasks involving electrical work, plumbing, or mechanical adjustments
• Conduct thorough inspections of appliances for damages or defects prior to delivery and report issues promptly
• Use schematics, ladder use, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to troubleshoot or assist with appliance installation or repair when needed
• Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions, explaining appliance features, and ensuring customer satisfaction during delivery
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection records, and adhere to safety protocols at all times

Recommended Experience (Not Required)

• Proven experience with appliance repair or installation including refrigeration systems, electrical work, plumbing or mechanical knowledge
• Familiarity with schematics, ladder use, electrical troubleshooting, equipment repair and maintenance operations (MRO) practices
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for appliance setup or minor repairs
• Experience operating company vehicles safely in various traffic conditions
• Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing connections, refrigeration components and general mechanical principles
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients
