Team Horner Group in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an energetic Delivery Driver (Flatbed) to ensure safe, accurate, and timely deliveries. You will pull and load orders, secure loads per DOT rules, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and provide professional customer service while representing the company on the road.

A valid CDL Class A or B with HazMat endorsement (or willingness to obtain) is required. Forklift certification is a plus.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Accurately pull and load orders onto truck based on delivery schedule
• Mark exterior of trucks with DOT signage and load securely per DOT regulations
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks
• Deliver products to customers and stock shelves as appropriate
• Provide prompt, courteous and efficient customer service
• Communicate customer issues to Branch Manager
• Unload vehicle and place returned merchandise to assigned areas
• Maintain truck with proper fuel level and keep interior clean
• Follow service schedule and notify supervisor of any needed repairs
• Report road violations, accidents, and unusual occurrences to supervisor
• Collect COD payments on delivery and note all cash/checks on order forms
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse
• Help with warehouse stock replenishment
• Other duties as assigned

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of products to customers while providing professional customer service and supporting branch operations. This role includes pulling and loading orders, securing loads in compliance with DOT requirements, maintaining the assigned company vehicle, and accurately handling COD payments and delivery documentation. The Delivery Driver serves as a front‑line representative of the company, communicates customer feedback and opportunities to branch leadership, and assists with warehouse cleanliness, returns, and stock replenishment as needed, while upholding Team Horner’s values of Working Together...Growing Together...Winning Together.

HornerXpress seeks an energetic, reliable, and experienced Delivery Driver (Flatbed) to join our branch in West Palm Beach, FL. The ideal candidate must hold a valid CDL Class A or Class B and either have a Hazmat endorsement or be willing to obtain one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pull and load orders onto truck based on delivery schedule
• Properly mark outside of trucks with DOT signage and load truck securely in accordance with DOT regulations
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspection of trucks
• Deliver products to customers and stock shelves where appropriate
• Provide prompt, courteous and efficient customer service
• Communicate any customer issues to Branch Manager
• Unload vehicle and place returned merchandise to assigned areas
• Maintain truck with proper fuel level, keep interior clean and free of debris
• Maintain service schedule, notify supervisor immediately of any repairs/work needed on vehicle
• Report all road violations, accidents, and unusual occurrences to supervisor immediately
• Responsible for collecting COD payments on delivery and note all check/cash collections on order form
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and organized warehouse
• Help with warehouse stock replenishment
• Other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

• Positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude
• Team-player mentality
• Forklift certified a plus
• CDL Class B or Class A, Hazmat endorsement preferred
• Experience driving flatbed trucks a plus
• Safety conscious
• Able to do basic math functions (add, subtract, divide and multiply)
• Ability to drive multiple hours at a time
• Ability to frequently lift/carry/move 50 – 100lbs
• Ability to deliver up to 350lb of equipment with a hand cart
