Job summary

Team Horner Group is seeking a Delivery Driver for our Miami, FL branch. The ideal candidate holds a CDL Class B or C, with Hazmat endorsement preferred, and is capable of loading, delivering, and servicing customer orders.

Responsibilities include loading, unloading, vehicle inspections, COD collections, and warehouse support. A safety-minded team player with forklift certification is a plus. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Experience driving flatbed trucks is a plus.
• Safety-conscious with ability to lift 50–100 lbs.
• Able to drive multiple hours and deliver up to 350 lbs with a hand cart.
• Strong customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Pull and load orders onto truck according to delivery schedule.
• Mark truck exterior with DOT signage and load securely per DOT.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Deliver products to customers and stock shelves as needed.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service and communicate issues to Branch Manager.
• Unload vehicle and place returned merchandise.
• Maintain truck fuel level and keep interior clean.
• Maintain service schedule and report needed repairs.
• Report road violations or accidents immediately.
• Collect COD payments and note on order form.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, organized warehouse and stock replenishment.

Job description

HornerXpress seeks an energetic, reliable, and experienced Delivery Driver to join our branch in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate must have a valid CDL Class B or Class C, be willing to go the extra mile for the team and have a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pull and load orders onto truck based on delivery schedule
• Properly mark outside of trucks with DOT signage and load truck securely in accordance with DOT regulations
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspection of trucks
• Deliver products to customers and stock shelves where appropriate
• Provide prompt, courteous and efficient customer service
• Communicate any customer issues to Branch Manager
• Unload vehicle and place returned merchandise to assigned areas
• Maintain truck with proper fuel level, keep interior clean and free of debris
• Maintain service schedule, notify supervisor immediately of any repairs/work needed on vehicle
• Report all road violations, accidents, and unusual occurrences to supervisor immediately
• Responsible for collecting COD payments on delivery and note all check/cash collections on order form
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and organized warehouse
• Help with warehouse stock replenishment
• Other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
