US Foods is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver for the Fife, WA area. You will safely transport and unload products, verify deliveries with customers, and obtain signatures at each stop.

Expect a strong safety culture and steady overtime opportunities as you serve our customers with reliability. Starting pay is $39.40 per hour with overtime; candidates must meet FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements and maintain vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have CDL Class A license issued by the state of residence with required endorsements.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience (or 3 months in food/beverage delivery).
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs repeatedly.

The CDL A Delivery Driver role goes beyond simply transporting goods - it’s about perfecting the craft of delivery, earning trust mile by mile, and serving as a vital link to our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesSafe Driving: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner.Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas – 100% touch freight.Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures.Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management.Physical RequirementsLift/carry/push/pull/lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.Driving & working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required.Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as low as 0 degrees.Continuously grasp objects & manipulate objects.
