Plumbers Supply Co is seeking a Delivery Driver in Evansville, IN to safely deliver plumbing supplies using box trucks and flatbeds. You will load trucks, verify counts, and interact with customers while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You must be 21+, hold a valid license, and meet DOT/OSHA safety requirements. Heavy lifting and team collaboration are part of the role, with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a box truck or similar.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• DOT medical card or ability to acquire one.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate company-owned and leased box trucks and flatbed (non-CDL) to deliver plumbing supplies per customer specs.
• Load trucks based on daily schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Use material handling equipment to load trucks and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Verify shipping counts and maintain safety and security standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service during shipping operations.
• Collaborate with warehouse and other teams as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:

• Operate company-owned and leased box trucks and flatbed (straight) trucks (Non-CDL) to deliver plumbing supplies and related products according to customer specifications.
• Load trucks based on daily schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Use material handling equipment to load trucks and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Verify shipping counts and maintain adherence to safety and security standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service during all shipping operations.
• Maintain required certifications per DOT and OSHA standards and participate in company safety programs.
• Collaborate effectively with warehouse and other teams as needed.

OUR MUST HAVES:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a box truck or similar
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs with or without assistance.
• Customer service focus with excellent communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• DOT medical card or ability to acquire one.
• Prior experience driving a box truck in shipping, receiving, or delivery preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
