Job Description

Supports the day-to-day operations of the branch by providing order and delivery services. Responsible for all warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Candidates must be able to work with constant awareness and in a safe manner. Employment offers are contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug test, which screens for substances including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidine, according to HHS and SAMHSA standards. A background check will be conducted for convictions related to the duties of this role; only job-related convictions will be considered and will not automatically disqualify applicants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to identify products by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Ability to read orders and match them on shipping tickets.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Ability to obtain certification for operating power-truck equipment.
• Experience with inventory control equipment such as bar-coding devices and handheld scanners.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs unassisted and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures typical of warehouse environments.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, pull, and push for extended periods.
• Ability to climb ladders for top-level product selection.
• Required vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
