Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems is seeking a warehouse/delivery associate to deliver and pickup freight, support logistics, and manage inventory of tools and PPE across regional jobsites. The role requires strong organization, safety awareness, and reliable driving with trucks of various sizes.

You will coordinate with field teams, assist in shipping/receiving, and contribute to efficient warehouse operations while adhering to company procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CA Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills with MS Office, PDFs and Google Suite.
• Demonstrates integrity and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to operate vehicles with mirrors/backup cameras.
• Ability to operate on uneven surfaces at construction sites.
• Highly organized with neat and orderly workspace.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to consult supervisors.
• Familiarity with traffic laws and regulations.
• 1 year of warehouse logistics experience preferred.
• Experience operating vehicles 1 ton and larger preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure freight and operate vehicle lift gates.
• Drive multiple size delivery trucks to jobsites and vendor facilities.
• Unload deliveries safely and verify correct freight.
• Operate forklifts, reach lifts, pallet jacks and other handling equipment.
• Assist with inbound/outbound freight and overall warehouse logistics.
• Coordinate delivery dates with field teams.

The secondary responsibilities of this position will be to support warehouse logistics and planning, inventory control, and fulfillment of parts and/or material orders. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Support Duties

• Support inventory management filing system.
• Assist with Inventory of all equipment, materials, tools and hardware.
• Assist with management and inventory of all safety related equipment and PPE’s.
• Assist in the filing of service paperwork.
• Support the services and construction department in various tasks.
• Shipping and receiving of orders and freight following the facilities established procedures.
• Process associated documentation and archive to appropriate project folder.
• Other operational support duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.

Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, Etc.)

• Must have a valid CA Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to operate independently yet possess good judgment to know when it’s appropriate to consult the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.
• Understand and obey all vehicle traffic laws and regulations.
• 1 year of related work experience in warehouse logistics preferred
• Experience in operating vehicles 1 ton and larger is preferred.

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with earlier than 6am starts, overtime and work on weekends as required. Some travel may be required.

Competitive Wages

$18.39 per hour to $23.91 per hour.
