Job summary

Donatos Pizza in Beavercreek, OH is seeking Delivery Drivers who bring orders to customers promptly and with a friendly attitude. You will safely operate a vehicle, verify orders for accuracy, and ensure timely delivery while representing the brand.

Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance; prior delivery or customer service experience is a plus. Ability to lift 20 lb regularly and up to 50 lb occasionally, with occasional bending and twisting, is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with 2 years driving experience.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Previous driver and/or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Checks out and delivers accurate, timely orders.
• Safely operates a motor vehicle.
• Effectively communicates with customers, co-workers, and managers in person or over the telephone.
• Displays a caring and friendly attitude to customers.
• Accurately handles cash; gives customer correct change, completes cash check out directly after the shift with Manager.
• Follows all food safety guidelines, including handwashing, illness reporting, and cleanliness.
• May spend some time doing tasks in-store, related to the delivery, such as answering phones, folding pizzas boxes, and gathering order contents prior to delivery.

Requirements:

• Delivery Drivers must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license with 2 years driving experience, and valid automobile insurance. Must maintain a driving record that meets company minimum requirements to remain in position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Each Delivery Driver plays an essential role in ensuring our customers receive their order in a timely and friendly manner. The most successful Delivery Drivers perform their role safely, efficiently, and accurately, making sure all orders are correct before leaving the restaurant.

• May spend some time doing tasks in-store, related to the delivery, such as answering phones, folding pizzas boxes, and gathering order contents prior to delivery. These activities will be done contemporaneously with the driver’s delivery responsibilities.
