Cabinetworks Group in Mount Sterling, KY is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver for its Shipping 1st shift. The role requires safe driving, daily truck inspections, and the ability to follow written or verbal instructions.

You will back trailers, work in a team, and contribute to a strong safety culture. The company offers benefits and opportunities in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in driving.
• Read/Write/Speak English.
• Knowledge of safe work practices.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Shipping/Receiving Experience.
• Forklift Experience (company will certify if needed).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle inspections and monitor mileage.
• Understand and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Complete work accurately and efficiently.
• Operate an 18 wheeler to offsite locations.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist in shipping department during idle times.
• Back up and back trailers in/out of docks.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Truck Drivers are responsible for doing daily inspection of truck and keeping up with miles.
• Able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow said instructions
• Complete work with accuracy and efficiency
• Drive 18 wheeler to offsite
• Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures
• On idle time or slow time will help in shipping department.
• Ability to back up and pull trailers in/out of docks

• Overtime is required, including some weekends
• May be required to work a flexible schedule
