Job summary

BairesDev, a leader in technology projects, seeks a Delivery Director to guide global, multi‑cultural teams and programs. The role focuses on implementing agile management practices across portfolios and collaborating with PMOs to drive performance.

You will oversee delivery managers and project managers, align HR policies, and elevate issues to the VP. The position emphasizes client satisfaction, scalable processes, and a strong English proficiency requirement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in project management of software outsourcing.
• Customer-oriented mindset and strong stakeholder interaction skills.
• Budget management experience in complex software projects.
• Experience with Software Development Management.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and practices.
• Previous experience as a Software Engineer.
• Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Advanced English level is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct project management practices using agile methodologies for your portfolio.
• Collaborate with the PMO to execute processes and strategies for your team of Project Managers.
• Ensure consistent HR policies in close collaboration with Px.
• Support your structure (delivery managers and project managers) and elevate relevant issues to the VP when needed.
• Define global forecast for your project portfolio.
• Ensure your team complies with established methodologies and processes.
• Work with Account VPs to manage complex problems with clients when needed.
• Ensure effective, professional, and transparent communication between Project Managers and Customers.
• Secure customer and team satisfaction throughout the entire project for all your clients.
