Job summary

Expeditors in Ellenwood, GA, seeks a Supply Chain Delivery Coordinator to orchestrate containerized cargo from port to customer sites. You’ll serve as the primary contact for delivery scheduling, shipment visibility, and exception resolution, coordinating with customers, trucking providers, and internal teams.

You will manage daily drayage planning, monitor service levels, and contribute to process improvements while upholding regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years related experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Clear understanding of container movements from ports to distribution centers.
• Effective interpersonal communication to achieve results.
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage daily drayage plan for inbound containers to distribution centers.
• Ensure timely movement of containers and mitigate accessorial costs.
• Produce reports: volume forecasts, expected arrivals, delivery schedules.
• Document current processes and identify efficiency improvements.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and respond to emails promptly.
• Conduct daily operations calls with partners and customers.
