Job summary

Katalyst-Healthcares- seeks a Delivery Assurance Specialist to support supplier performance across aerospace and defense. You will ensure on-time delivery, drive supplier development, and enhance production readiness within a complex supplier network.

The role requires experience in supply chain risk mitigation, ERP systems (prefer SAP), and continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma. Travel to supplier sites may be required to support recovery and improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in supply chain, supplier development or delivery assurance within aerospace/defense.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier portal commitments and data integrity.
• Review supplier recovery plans to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with sub-tier suppliers to expedite critical orders.
• Analyze planning processes and capacity constraints.
• Track WIP status using LOB or similar tools.
• Escalate delivery risks to internal stakeholders.
• Provide weekly progress updates to teams and leadership.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in supplier manufacturing.
• Conduct onsite supplier visits to assess progress and recovery.
• Conduct supplier assessments with quality/engineering/procurement.
• Use supplier development tools for performance improvement.
• Partner with suppliers on Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and cost-to-serve data.
• Develop SIPs using SharePoint.
• Coordinate across sites to address supply chain risks.
• Develop and implement QIPs.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Review PFMEA and Control Plans.
• Facilitate training on quality tools and verify effectiveness.
• Maintain monthly reports on supplier corrective actions and quality metrics.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Delivery Assurance Specialist to support supplier performance across the aerospace and defense supply chain. This role focuses on ensuring on-time delivery, supplier development, production readiness, and quality improvement across a complex supplier network. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain risk mitigation, supplier development, delivery assurance, ERP systems, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration. The candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve delivery issues, improve supplier performance, and maintain quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sub-tier suppliers and subcontractors to expedite critical orders.

• Track parts and work-in-progress (WIP) status using LOB or similar tools.
• Escalate delivery risks and supplier non-responsiveness to internal stakeholders.
• Provide weekly progress updates and briefings to internal teams and leadership.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in supplier manufacturing processes.
• Conduct onsite supplier visits to assess progress, resolve issues, and support recovery plans.
• Conduct supplier assessments with quality, engineering, and procurement teams.

• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Familiarity with engineering outsourcing, project management, and quality management systems.
• Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and manufacturing process improvement initiatives.
• Willingness and ability to travel to supplier sites as needed, potentially daily.
