Job summary

Katalyst-Healthcares- is seeking a proactive Delivery Assurance Specialist to support supplier performance across the aerospace and defense supply chain. This role focuses on on-time delivery, supplier development, risk mitigation, and quality improvement.

You will monitor commitments, validate recovery plans, coordinate with sub-tier suppliers, analyze planning processes, track WIP, and lead site visits to drive continuous improvement and ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Experience in supply chain, supplier development, or delivery assurance within aerospace and defense.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Experience with supplier assessments, capacity planning, and production readiness.
• Familiarity with engineering outsourcing, project management, and quality systems.
• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and manufacturing process improvement.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness and ability to travel to supplier sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Assurance

• Monitor supplier portal commitment compliance and data integrity.


• Review and validate supplier recovery plans to meet delivery schedules.


• Coordinate with sub-tier suppliers and subcontractors to expedite critical orders.

• Track parts and work-in-progress (WIP) status using LOB or similar tools.

Supplier Development

• Conduct supplier assessments with Quality, Engineering, and Procurement teams.


• Use supplier development and continuous improvement tools to improve performance.


• Support suppliers in implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.


• Monitor KPIs and cost-to-serve data.


• Develop and maintain Supplier Improvement Plans (SIPs) in SharePoint.


• Coordinate across sites and functions to address supply chain risks.

Supplier Quality

• Develop and implement Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs).


• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.


• Review and update PFMEA and Control Plans.


• Facilitate quality tools training and verify corrective action effectiveness.


• Maintain monthly reports on supplier corrective actions and quality metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.


• Experience in supply chain, supplier development, or delivery assurance within aerospace and defense.


• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP .


• Experience with supplier assessments, capacity planning, and production readiness.


• Familiarity with engineering outsourcing, project management, and quality systems.


• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and manufacturing process improvement .
