Summary of Position

The Delivery Associate/Warehouse Associate is assisting the Delivery Driver on local deliveries. The best candidate would need to have a driver's license with a clean driving record. Some deliveries may require hand loading and hand off-loading of up to 100 lbs. The Delivery Associate/Warehouse Associate will utilize a forklift on a daily basis, and must handle all orders with care.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Fulfill orders in a timely manner using a forklift.

Wrap completed orders for shipment to customers.

Stay engaged and work closely with drivers to ensure detailed information on loads is relayed and completed.

Ensure adherence to load plan and that all loads are loaded, picked up, and delivered on time.

Conduct dock checks and make sure docks are clear.

Keep management and client services informed of any activities or potential issues that may delay shipping.

Immediately check in received products.

Follow company protocol for ensuring the correct items are shipped and delivered to customers.

Greet clients and build rapport by learning and meeting their shipping needs.

Other duties as assigned to meet company needs.

Ability to operate a tablet camera to log completed orders.
