Job summary

A cabinetry company in Phoenix is seeking a Forklift Operator/Picker to manage product component orders and ensure timely, accurate warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pulling and staging items for production, maintaining warehouse organization, and ensuring safety and cleanliness. Candidates must be able to lift heavy objects and communicate effectively in English. Training for Forklift Certification will be provided for those willing to learn.

Summary of Position

The Forklift Operator/Picker is responsible for pulling product components to satisfy client orders. They will do so by managing pick ticket orders by physically pulling product components, placing them on a pallet, and delivering them to their designated drop-off location (Assembly/Shipping).

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Manage pick ticket orders from start to finish while being timely and accurate.
• Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements.
• Ensure that orders are picked without damage.
• Stage items correctly for production, if required.
• Assist with stock replenishment.
• Help maintain the cleanliness/organization of the warehouse.
• Performs other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to lift heavy objects for extended periods of time.
• Safety conscious.
• Knowledge of OSHA/Forklift Certification. (ProCraft will train all employees who are willing to learn!)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
