Delivery Driver Assistant – Denton, TX

Base Pay: $17 per hour. Start time 5:00AM. Full‑time position. No experience necessary, but the ideal candidate is motivated, coachable, and eager to learn.

Job Description

This role assists Delivery Drivers with beverage (Beer/Spirits) delivery to retail locations throughout the local community. The position is a front‑line service role and requires working in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver required beverages along specified routes.
• Follow Delivery Driver’s directions to ensure smooth and accurate runs.
• Stock all windows, cold boxes, coolers, shelves, and displays in retail accounts quickly and efficiently as directed.
• Effectively communicate issues and opportunities to the Delivery Driver.
• Learn all deposit/reconciliation procedures.
• Learn product code dates for all brands and packages.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum one year of driving experience.
• High School graduate or equivalent certificate.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player.
• Excellent time‑management, communication, and math skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 160lbs and repeatedly lift 50lbs.
• Must pass a medical evaluation that includes functional tests of the ability to perform the basic physical job requirements.

Initial compensation package is effective the first of the month following 60 days of full‑time employment, and includes the above insurance coverage.
