Job summary

National DCP, LLC (NDCP) is seeking a Delivery Assistant to support drivers in unloading and delivering products to Dunkin stores in West Lebanon, NH. You will use electric and manual pallet jacks and a two-wheel hand truck, and help organize product by freezer, cooler, dry, and chemicals.

This full-time role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, with room for growth across departments. You will work Wednesday through Saturday with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years in food/restaurant/warehouse experience a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to follow simple directions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees and external customers.
• Strong team player.
• Flexible to varying work schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with the delivery of product into Dunkin stores using an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack and/or two-wheel hand truck.
• Identify products on the delivery truck under varying lighting conditions.
• Learn product descriptions and box types to assist in proper delivery at each location.
• Place stock into proper delivery zones in the store (freezer, cooler, dry).
• Lift boxes and bags of varying sizes and weights frequently.
• Guide the driver through parking lots and back up safely.
• Navigate busy parking lots and intersections during delivery.
• Climb in and out of tractor and trailers throughout the day.
• Safely operate side and rear lift gates on delivery vehicles.
• Assist the driver with other requests within safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with the delivery of product into Dunkin stores using an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack and/or two-wheel hand truck. The product will be segregated into freezer, cooler, dry, and chemicals.
• Assist the driver with identifying the product(s) on the delivery truck under various lighting conditions that may exist in the trailer or delivery truck.
• Learn product descriptions and box types to assist in the proper delivery of product at each location.
• Assist the driver in placing stock into the proper delivery zone in the store (freezer, cooler and dry).
• Lift boxes and bags of varying sizes and weights frequently during the course of a day.
• Divert traffic to promote a safe working environment for the driver to back up into the store parking lot and delivery area. Guide the driver through parking lots.
• Navigate through busy parking lots and intersections while delivering product using a two-wheel hand truck, an electric or manual pallet jack.
• Climb in and out to the tractor and trailers repeatedly throughout the day.
• Safely operate the side and rear lift gates on the delivery vehicles.
• Assist the driver with any other requests within safety guidelines and/or company policy.
