Job summary

Stewart’s TV & Appliance is seeking delivery and warehouse team members to join our Elyria, OH location. You will deliver household goods and appliances to customers, showing respect and courtesy to all clients and coworkers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of heavy items to different addresses along pre-scheduled routes.

• Load, unload, and prepare delivery items; inspect delivery vehicle.
• Use a dolly and exercise caution in customers' homes.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards; lift 50–100 lbs.

Job Summary

Stewart's Appliance is looking for delivery and warehouse help to join our team! As a Delivery and warehouse employee, you are a key member of the team! You are responsible for delivering household goods and appliances to our clients. Exemplifying our code of values, you must show respect and courtesy to all customers and coworkers.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who is driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction as well as effectively managing a variety of situations. This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people!

Responsibilities

• 1 Year delivery experience preferred
• Deliver a wide variety of heavy items to different addresses through pre-scheduled routes
• Follow route and schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Ability to use a dolly and use caution within customers homes
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck and express van
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to work in teams and independently
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
