Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a skilled team member for formulation preparation, analytical testing and microneedle array characterization in our Indianapolis facility. The role requires hands-on pharma/biotech lab experience with UPLC/HPLC and microscopy exposure.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, with expected adherence to SOPs, meticulous record-keeping, and rigorous safety practices. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD with 1-2 years of experience or BS with 3-5 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or analytical chemistry lab.
• Demonstrated experience with formulation prep: accurate weighing, calculations, and mixing per SOP.
• Demonstrated experience running UPLC/HPLC, including solvent/mobile phase prep, sample injection, and data analysis.
• Exposure to texture analyzer testing and microscopy are a plus.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Formulation Preparation
  • Accurately weigh reagents and excipients per formulation SOPs
  • Mix and prepare formulations according to written protocols
• Analytical Testing (UPLC)
  • Prepare samples and run UPLC for formulation/content analysis
  • Follow SOPs for method setup, solvent/mobile phase prep, sample injection, and data analysis
• Characterization Testing
  • Perform texture analyzer testing on microneedle arrays (e.g., mechanical strength, insertion force) per SOP
  • Perform microscopic evaluation of microneedle arrays (e.g., needle integrity, morphology) per SOP
  • Maintain accurate lab notebooks/records for all tasks performed
  • Follow all lab safety and documentation standards
