Job summary

ImageFIRST in Merrillville, IN, is seeking a route sales/delivery professional to service medical facilities across the region. You will deliver and collect products, maintain vehicle safety, and support client relations while promoting our values.

The role emphasizes customer service, field sales, and daily truck duties, with weekly pay and benefits. A valid license, ability to lift weight, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in sales or route sales.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a CMV up to 10 hours daily.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load truck with items per delivery manifest and ensure full load.
• Unload truck and sanitize products at client sites.
• Perform basic truck maintenance and report repairs.
• Record delivery manifests and obtain client signatures.
• Attend team meetings and promote company values.
• Identify upsell opportunities with clients and communicate sales info to team.
• Build positive relationships with clients and ensure satisfaction with deliveries.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver products to and from our clients as required. Create a positive moment with every interaction by maintaining positive communication with all employees at your location and all client contacts. Operate company equipment safely and responsibly, comply with applicable rules and regulations relating to safety and operation of commercial motor vehicles. Work with your local team to facilitate all clients needs.

• Load truck Ensure complete load is loaded in accordance with delivery manifest.


• Unload Truck Ensure all product is removed from truck and truck is cleaned and sanitized.


• Truck Maintenancetimely communication of repairs, PM, accidents


• PaperworkEnsure delivery manifest is signed and recorded in accordance with our client’s expectations.


• Team MeetingsAttend team meetings as required


• SupportPromote our values and the ImageFIRST way to build the company by positively impacting the lives of our associates, our community, our customers and their patients.


• Sales Look for opportunities to add product at clients and relay any sales information back to your local team.


• Customer Relationships Identify and resolve customer concerns, ensure customer satisfaction with deliveries, develop positive relationships with principal customer contacts, maintain enthusiastic and professional attitude and maximize customer contract term.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience within sales or a route sales role


• Must possess a professional appearance


• Must be able to consistently lift 35 pounds


• Must be able to drive a commercial motor vehicle for up to 10 hours on a daily basis


• Must possess a minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent


• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have an excellent driving record


• Must be able to obtain a C Class Driver's License


• Should possess a sense of direction/knowledge of area


• Must possess exceptional customer service skills


• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
