Job summary

ImageFIRST is hiring a non-CDL delivery driver in Farmington, CT. You will deliver products to medical facilities, load and unload trucks, and maintain safe operation of company equipment. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday with weekly pay and opportunities to grow sales at client sites.

You must have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years of sales or route sales experience.
• Professional appearance.

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

• Good written and verbal communication.
• Good sense of direction/area knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to clients and interact positively with staff and customers.
• Operate company equipment safely and comply with safety rules.
• Load and unload truck per delivery manifest and keep area clean.
• Record delivery manifests and obtain client signatures.
• Attend team meetings and promote company values.
• Identify sales opportunities at client locations and relay details to the team.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and issue resolution.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver products to and from our clients as required. Create a positive moment with every interaction by maintaining positive communication with all employees at your location and all client contacts. Operate company equipment safely and responsibly, comply with applicable rules and regulations relating to safety and operation of commercial motor vehicles. Work with your local team to facilitate all clients needs.

Pay $30-$33 per hour based on experience

Tuesday - Saturday

Non-CDL position

• Load truck Ensure complete load is loaded in accordance with delivery manifest.
• Unload Truck Ensure all product is removed from truck and truck is cleaned and sanitized.
• Truck Maintenancetimely communication of repairs, PM, accidents
• PaperworkEnsure delivery manifest is signed and recorded in accordance with our client's expectations.
• Team MeetingsAttend team meetings as required
• SupportPromote our values and the ImageFIRST way to build the company by positively impacting the lives of our associates, our community, our customers and their patients.
• Sales Look for opportunities to add product at clients and relay any sales information back to your local team.
• Customer Relationships Identify and resolve customer concerns, ensure customer satisfaction with deliveries, develop positive relationships with principal customer contacts, maintain enthusiastic and professional attitude and maximize customer contract term.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience within sales or a route sales role
• Must possess a professional appearance
• Must be able to consistently lift 35 pounds
• Must be able to drive a commercial motor vehicle for up to 10 hours on a daily basis
• Must possess a minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and have an excellent driving record
• Should possess a sense of direction/knowledge of area
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills
• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
