Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services US in Houston seeks an experienced Collection Specialist to contact customers, determine delinquency causes, and apply programs to reduce delinquencies. The role uses phone, dialer, and written communications in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include verifying customer information, documenting conversations, following safeguards, and recommending repossession or legal action when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of collection-related experience
• High School Diploma / GED
• Overtime required – on an as needed basis.
• Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.
• Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Confers with customers by telephone in an attempt to collect current and past due payments.
• Documents conversations and arrangements accurately in the collection system.
• Reviews customers’ files and offers programs to qualified customers to minimize delinquency.
• Maintain delinquent rates at or below objectives.
• Meet daily and weekly production goals (Calls and dollars collected).
