Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by showing care and patience to customers and team members.
• Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner throughout the store.
• Learn customers' names and address them by name when possible.
• Assist customers by guiding them to products, securing items, and handling requests.
• Operate department registers and handle payments where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the work area and monitor food freshness.
• Take customer orders at the delicatessen counter and ensure accuracy.
• Work with teammates to ensure customer satisfaction and a positive work environment.
• Review daily orders and production needs to ensure adequate stock.
