Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies orally or in writing.
• Must be able to solve arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the deli counter and throughout the store.
• Operate department registers, receive payments and make change as applicable.
• Assist customers by locating products, handling requests, and maintaining a clean, tidy work area.
• Follow sanitation procedures and ensure freshness and proper stocking of deli items.
• Collaborate with co-workers to ensure a positive shopping experience and efficient service.
