Job summary

TravelCenters of America is hiring a Deli Clerk to assist guests at the deli counter, slice meats and cheeses, and help with displays. You will provide friendly customer service and process transactions at the POS, while keeping workstations clean and safe.

The role requires good communication, ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays, and prior deli experience is a plus but not required. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates friendly, helpful attitude toward customers.
• Able to work well with others in a team.
• Experience handling cash and operating a POS system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests at the deli counter by recommending foods and slicing meats/cheeses.
• Process transactions on a POS register.
• Keep workstations clean and follow safety guidelines.
• Promote deli displays and maintain product displays.
