Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our travel centers. You will assist guests at the deli counter, slice meats and cheeses, and provide excellent customer service to help travelers get back on the road better than they came.

The role requires basic POS usage, cash handling, and flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays. Prior deli experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a deli clerk is preferred but not required.
• Basic computer/POS knowledge preferred.
• Cash handling skills preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Slice meats and cheeses at the deli counter.
• Assist guests by recommending foods and answering questions.
• Take inventory and update displays to showcase promotions.
• Process transactions on a POS register.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and follow safety guidelines.
• Establish rapport with leaders and co-workers and perform other duties.
