Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Deli Clerk to assist guests at the deli counter, slice meats and cheeses, and provide excellent customer service. This role supports a fast-paced environment across TA travel centers.

The position requires helpful, courteous service and may involve flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays. Prior deli experience is preferred but not required; basic POS familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests at the deli counter by recommending foods, cutting meats and cheeses, and more.
• Process transactions on a POS register.
• Maintain clean and prepared workstations and follow safety guidelines.
• Update displays and promote products in the deli department.
• Establish rapport with leaders and co-workers and perform other duties as assigned.
