Job summary

Cosentino's Price Chopper #285 in Raymore, MO is seeking a Deli Clerk to assist customers in the deli, help with preparation, and follow all sanitary and health protocols. You will support the kitchen team and maintain clean work areas.

The position is non-exempt, with reporting to the Deli Manager. Availability for mids, nights, and weekends is required. A food handling permit within 14 days is needed; high school diploma preferred; ongoing Cosentino’s Learning Plan training will be provided.

Qualifications

• A food handling permit must be obtained within the first 14 days of employment.
• Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino’s Learning Plan.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment and prep areas are cleaned per Food Safety guidelines.
• Assist prep cook and kitchen as needed.
• Monitor product dates and rotate stock properly.
• Unload shipments and stock items without damage.
• Answer customer questions courteously and accurately.
• Resolve complaints with store management as needed.
