Qualifications

• A food handling permit must be obtained within the first 14 days of employment.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in deli, bakery, restaurant or food service operations is required.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the Deli Manager, supervise deli team to ensure operational effectiveness and a respectful atmosphere.
• Assist in interviewing and selecting the highest quality candidates for the deli.Provide coaching and performance evaluations to improve team results.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, inspect deliveries, and address shortages or damages.
• Ensure adherence to Cosentino's Customer Service Standards and health/sanitation guidelines.
• Promote department sales by merchandising, samples, and awareness of ads and specials.
