Job summary

The GIANT Company is looking for a deli team member in Roslyn, PA. You will handle and know all deli products, receive, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, label, and stock shelves and displays, while keeping areas neat and appealing for customers.

You will provide friendly service, answer questions, promote products, follow safety rules, wear PPE, complete training courses, and work flexible shifts. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and adherence to health codes to ensure a safe, clean store

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service is an essential component of every position within GIANT/MARTIN'S stores.
• Receive, processes, prepares, wraps, slices, weighs, marks, and packages products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, to include stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions, including coding, rotating, organizing cases of product.
• Maintain proper prep area conditions, including cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions, including sweeping and mopping.
• Provide exceptionally friendly and courteous customer service and promote products through suggestive selling.
• Must dress according to company policy and maintain a neat, clean appearance.
• Must complete ELM training courses as they are added to the learning page.
