Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a friendly Deli Associate in Everett to keep service areas stocked, greet customers, and assist with ready-to-eat foods. You will operate slicing equipment and ensure accurate pricing and labeling in a fast-paced environment.

Follows safety policies, maintains sanitation, and assists with inventory. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within the store and participate in team-oriented tasks.

Responsibilities

• Keeps deli service areas stocked and appealing and greets customers.
• Ensures freshness and accurate labeling of display cases.
• Operates slicing equipment and prepares ready-to-eat foods.
• Adheres to safety policies when preparing food items.
• May handle cash register operations and follow cash handling procedures.
• Maintains sanitation and follows cleaning schedules to meet health/OSHA standards.
• Assists with inventory and receiving, when trained.
