Job summary

Kroger in Seattle is seeking a Deli Clerk to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service while maintaining a safe, clean deli environment. Responsibilities include preparing deli items, labeling and rotating stock, and providing knowledgeable, friendly service to customers in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service experience and a friendly demeanor.

• Basic math skills for operations and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for the deli cold case, salad, and hot bars as requested.
• Follow recipes and use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Label, date, rotate, and monitor deli items for quality and freshness.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggest products to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and a safe work environment in line with health regulations.
• Support store leadership to meet department goals and standards.
