Job summary

Parkhurst Dining is seeking a dependable Deli Team Member to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You’ll prepare salads, sandwiches, wraps, and other deli items according to recipes and production sheets, while maintaining station cleanliness and presentation for guests.

You will wash, cut, and portion produce, hold cold foods at 40°F or below, stock ingredients, monitor freshness with FIFO, label and date products, and keep temperature logs.

Qualifications

• Standing and/or walking 100% of the time.
• Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
• Frequently lift up to 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare salads, sandwiches, wraps, and deli items according to recipes and production sheets.
• Wash, cut, and portion fruits and vegetables.
• Pre-chill and properly hold cold foods at 40°F or below.
• Stock and replenish ingredients, condiments, and service items throughout service.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out).
• Label, date, and store all products correctly.
• Maintain accurate temperature logs for cold products and serving stations.
• Ensure the station is stocked, organized, and presentation-ready for guests.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing cleaning tasks.
