Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a Deli Clerk for the Delis team who can work evenings and weekends, typically 20–25 hours per week. You will provide friendly customer service, slice meats and cheeses, and help keep the deli area clean and well-stocked.

Applicants should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, following safety procedures, and collaborating with teammates to ensure high-quality products and fast service for customers. Training and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Follows food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers in person and over the phone.
• Slice and weigh lunch meats and cheeses; offer slice thickness options.
• Establish product knowledge and encourage sampling and upselling.
• Fill/rotate/date products for display cases; operate slicers, scales, and wrapping equipment.
