Price Chopper is hiring a deli clerk to provide fast, friendly service, slice and wrap deli products, and keep the workstation clean and sanitized. You will assist with sampling, merchandising, and daily food program preparation, including Roaster Chicken items.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, accuracy, and adherence to company standards. Responsibilities include maintaining logs, performing sanitation duties, and supporting management with shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Satisfactory performance reviews.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic Literacy.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsabilités

• Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Smiling, making eye contact and thanking customers upon fulfilling requests.
• Provide sample and suggestive selling with a friendly attitude and acknowledge customers with a thank you.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Handle, merchandise and cook deli products according to company standards.
• Prepare in-store made prepared food programs.
• Prepare chickens and side orders for Roaster Chicken program.
• Perform sanitation duties within the department in accordance with regulations.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Maintain cold case logs, hot food logs and cooling logs per store policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management and adhere to policies.
