Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk in Farmerville, LA. Assist deli staff with slicing, packaging, labeling, and preparing hot and cold deli items while providing friendly customer service.

You will stock, rotate, and present products, maintain safety and cleanliness, and help answer customer questions both in person and by phone. The role requires Food Handler certification and the ability to operate slicers and other deli equipment, with physical tasks including

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16; 18+ to operate and clean motorized equipment.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Able to read and follow safety procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist deli personnel with slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling, and preparing hot and cold deli foods.
• Inspect equipment and operate it safely under supervision.
• Stock, rotate, and present deli products to meet quality standards.
• Greet customers, take orders by phone or in person, and promote products.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area and follow safety procedures.
