Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Mount Laurel, NJ, is hiring a Deli Food Service Worker to help ensure the freshest deli meats and cheeses are available for customers and to provide easy meal and entertaining solutions in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include slicing, packaging and labeling orders; delivering friendly service; keeping deli cases clean and stocked; unloading deliveries and rotating stock to ensure freshness.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills with a friendly, helpful demeanor.
• Ability to handle or prepare food items safely and efficiently.
• Experience with labeling and packaging products.

Responsibilities

• Complete customer orders by slicing, packaging and labeling products.

• Ensure fresh and appealing deli cases by keeping them cleaned and well-stocked.
• Unload and break down daily deliveries, stock cases, displays and backroom coolers; refill and rotate for freshness.
