Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Midlothian, VA is seeking a part-time Deli team member to help provide the freshest deli meats and cheeses and create easy meal and entertaining solutions for customers. You will work with other team members in a fast-paced environment, helping ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires morning/afternoon/evening availability (including weekends) and 18+ years of age.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Strong communication with customers

Responsibilities

• Complete customer orders by slicing, packaging and labeling products
• Provide incredible service and answer customer questions in a timely manner
• Ensure fresh and appealing deli cases and self-serve displays by keeping them clean and stocked
• Unload and rotate daily deliveries and stock backroom areas with new and existing products

What will I do?

• Complete customer orders by slicing, packaging and labeling products
• Provide incredible service and answer customer questions in a timely manner
• Ensure fresh and appealing deli cases and self-service cases by keeping them cleaned and well-stocked
• Unload and break down daily deliveries, stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products/inventory; refill and rotate for freshness
