Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in East Rochester, NY (2200 Ridge Road East) is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker for the Deli. You will work with a team to ensure fresh meats and cheeses are available and help customers with meal solutions. If you enjoy fast-paced food service and helping guests, this role could be for you.

You will slice, package, label orders, provide friendly service, keep cases stocked and clean, and assist with deliveries and stock rotation to maintain freshness.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Able to handle food safely and follow safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

What will I do?

• Complete customer orders by slicing, packaging and labeling products
• Provide incredible service and answer customer questions in a timely manner
• Ensure fresh and appealing deli cases and self-service cases by keeping them cleaned and well-stocked
• Unload and break down daily deliveries, stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products/inventory; refill and rotate for freshness
