Job summary

Town Pump Company in Belgrade, MT is seeking a Store Deli Manager to lead daily deli operations, supervise staff, and deliver top-tier customer service. You will manage inventory, uphold safety standards, and work with the store manager on expenses and promotions.

The role requires ServSafe certification (may be waived) and a valid driver’s license. Starting pay is $20/hour plus a $1/hour shift bonus and potential monthly bonuses, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli or convenience store operations.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• assist the store manager in supervisory decisions that are consistent with Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures.
• set an exemplary example for co-workers in customer service and store operations.
• conduct new employee orientation and training; document performance and conduct evaluations.
• conduct daily walk-throughs and prioritize tasks.
• maintain inventories, order deli merchandise, and achieve deli metrics.
• conduct maintenance and sanitation in the deli area; prepare deli items as required.
• check in deli vendors and manage stock and receipts.
• rotate stock and remove expired products.
• complete ServSafe certification and maintain valid driver's license.
