Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member for the deli department to slice, package, weigh and present deli products. You’ll assist Members, handle special orders, and maintain clean, well-stocked displays while following food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides a high level of customer service to Members.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products, including cheeses and meats.
• Receives and inspects deli shipments.
• Displays, stocks, rotates, and stores deli products following food safety and product handling policies and procedures.
• Operates deli equipment in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes deli equipment and food surfaces in the department.
