Coborn's, Inc. is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team. We provide training; you bring a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

The role centers on delivering remarkable customer service, creating a friendly atmosphere, and engaging guests with samples and suggestive selling. Key duties include slicing and labeling meats, preparing salads, serving hot case items, stocking displays, and preparing trays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher's age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for our guests
• Prepare and dish up salads
• Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location)
• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing
• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store
• Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations
• In this position, you may also be responsible for dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders baking/frying products.
