Job summary

Responsibilities include slicing and weighing deli items, displaying salads and hot foods, labeling products, and assisting with inventory. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in deli/food service or retail is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Strong attention to detail and food safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous, efficient service.
• Slice, weigh, and package deli meats and cheeses according to customer specifications.
• Prepare and display deli items such as salads, sandwiches, and hot foods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of deli cases and prep areas.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate stock as needed.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Label and price products accurately.
• Assist with inventory and restocking of deli items.
• Answer customer questions about ingredients and preparation.
